PlantSavvyWorld • Botanical Education & Sustainable Horticulture

Who reads these messages

PlantSavvyWorld is an independent botanical education project. The contact form above goes to the same small editorial team that writes and fact-checks the plant guides, growing calendars and care tips published on this site — there is no ticketing system and no outsourced support desk in between. Whoever answers you has read the article you are writing about.

We publish practical horticulture material for home growers: hardiness-zone guidance, propagation and pruning walkthroughs, watering and soil advice, pest and disease identification, and seasonal calendars. Our reference points are agricultural extension services, published horticultural literature and repeated hands-on growing, and every guide is reviewed before it goes live. When a reader tells us something on the site is wrong, that review starts again.

What to write to us about

Corrections and factual disputes are the messages we value most. If a guide gives a planting window that does not match your zone, names a plant incorrectly, recommends something unsafe around pets or children, or contradicts guidance from your local extension service, send us the page address and what you believe is wrong. Specific reports get acted on quickly; a link plus one sentence of context is enough.

Plant care questions are welcome. Tell us the plant, your climate or hardiness zone, whether it is indoors or outdoors, how long you have had it and what you are seeing — leaf colour, soil condition, watering routine, light exposure. Those details are the difference between a general answer and a useful one. We answer as gardeners sharing experience, not as a diagnostic service, and anything involving crop loss, structural tree work, or the safety of people or animals should go to a local arborist, extension office, veterinarian or poison-control line rather than to us.

We also read requests for topics we have not covered yet, notes about pages that render badly or load slowly on your device, questions about reusing our text or photographs, and enquiries about editorial partnerships. Requests to publish sponsored posts, guest articles with embedded commercial links, or paid placements inside existing guides are declined as a matter of policy — our recommendations are not for sale, and saying so here saves everyone the exchange.

How we handle your message

Messages sent through the form reach us by email at contact@plantsavvyworld.com; you may write to that address directly if you prefer, or if you need to attach photographs, which often settle a plant identification or disease question faster than any description. We ask for your email address only so we can reply, and we use it for nothing else — no newsletter, no marketing list, no sharing with third parties. Details of what we collect and how long we keep it are set out in our privacy policy, and the terms covering reuse of our text and photographs are in our terms of use.

Most enquiries are answered within 24 to 48 business hours. Replies take longer during peak spring and autumn planting seasons, when the volume of growing questions rises sharply, and a question that needs us to re-verify a source before answering will sit with us a little longer rather than be answered quickly and wrongly. If a week passes with no reply, please write again — occasionally a message is lost to a spam filter on one side or the other.

Confirmed errors are corrected at the source. We amend the guide, note what changed, and reply to tell you it is done. Where a correction changes the practical advice — a shifted planting window, a revised dosage, a plant reclassified as toxic — the change is described on the page itself so returning readers are not left following the old version.
